So I went back to watch the AC II Linage video after reading ~LadyVe's story about Giovanni and Maria because their interactions with eachother melts my heart. Anyway, I'm watching it and it gets to the part where Medici and another man are asking Giovanni what he has heard. I look at the unnamed guy and all of a sudden my brain decides to kick in and work! I literally jump in my seat and point at the screen and said, "Oh my gawd! It's the Templar that betrays Giovanni and has him hanged!!! I can't believe I didn't realize it sooner! I feel like an Assassin's Creed idiot now ! Ah, at least I did figure it out and now I know who is responsible for turning traitor on Giovanni. Want to see a comparison? Check out this [link]

Also, here is some food for thought that also popped in my head (not that I necessarily believe it myself, just some fun conspiricay theory).
Has anyone compared Uncle Mario to Al Mualim? Could he possibly betray Ezio like Al Mualim betrayed Altair? I don't know which of the brothers, Mario or Giovanni, is older but could it be that Mario, out of jealousy for being passed over as "the favored son/master assassin" because he doesn't have the same power as Giovanni (like say, Eagle Vision to read Altair's codex) so he uses Ezio to run and do his errands/dirty work like Al Mualim did to Altair only to then stab him in the back? Could that explain why he didn't come to his brother's rescue?
Also, (and it is a reach just like the rest of this hypothesis) if you look at Al Mualim and Uncle Mario they both have an injured eye. Granted the injury is to opposite eyes, but it is still there like a mirror image.
Finally, I looked up the name Mario and what it means. The baby name book I saw it in translated Mario as Uncertian, bitter.
How curious!

Did anyone else notice this or is it just me? We all give the main assassin men of Assassin's Creed nicknames like Alty, Ezi and Desi? Now, look at Desmond's nickname...Desi. And who helps him escape? Lucy. Lucy and Desi like in "I Love Lucy". I hope the Ubisoft team didn't do that on purpose!!!

Yeah, so 4 hours and 15 computer crashes later, I finally finished my one and a half minute video for the Live by the Creed challenge where we had to put what we were looking forward to in Assassin's Creed 2. Wanted to start on it much earlier but I was sick and in bed most of the time. Anyway, I go to turn it in and POOF the contest had ended. Stupid me got it done at 11:45pm central time and I forgot The_Assassin is on eastern time. I seriously could bash my head against the computer table right now!

I uploaded it anyway to YouTube (since I did work really hard on it) and I'll post a link in case any of you are curious to see it. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the worst, ten being the best( I think I'd give it a 3. I'm kinda ashamed of the poor quality of it but that is just the TV/Film productionist in me talking. For example:

*The titles are horribly fuzzy
*The music is off
*Some spelling errors
*Clips are choppy
*Transitions don't move smoothly

Ah, but what can you expect working with Windows Movie Maker? How I wish I had an Avid Editor or at least Adobe Premire.

I had an interesting and humorous situation happen to me the other day that I think all you Assassin's Creed fans will appreciate (and laugh at).

So I am sitting in the computer room doing some art stuff and my husband is in our living room watching T.V. All of a sudden I hear the song'Genesis' by Justice (you know, the wicked awesome song in the AC II video) playing in the room my husband is in. Thinking that they are finally playing AC II commercials I get really excited. I jump up from my chair (knocking it over and scaring the crap outta my poor pet chinchilla) and proceed to run to the living room. My poor neighbors downstairs probably thought a herd of buffalo were on stampede! Anywho, when I finally get there and see the commercial I am crushed. It is not a commercial for the new AC.....but for the game DJ Hero. So I curse loudly, "You mother f*ckers!!!" My husband looks at me confused so I sheepishly tell him, "I thought it was an Assassin's Creed commercial....." He laughs hysterically at me and then informs me as to what a big dork I am. He then goes on, laughing with tears in his eyes, "I wish I could get you as excited as Assassin's Creed does!" Needless to say, I was a bit embarrassed. :lmoa:

I'm thinking of writing a blog on my Live by the Creed journal. I am really getting sick and tired of all the whining and complaining a lot of the members are doing there and I just want to vent. I might eventually put it here but I dunno. What do you think?

In happier news, I am currently working on the family invite mission for Live by the Creed. I am super excited about it (since I feel as though I failed epicly at the family crest...I was confused ). There is going to be lots of symbolism in it and it will be based off of the Doges crest. Also, when I post it on here I will have a bit of a contest! The first person to correctly identify all (or most) of the symbolism will get a free art piece drawn or story written for them! Woohoo! Don't worry, it won't be as hard as it sounds!

Also, got some art/story ideas I may or may not work on. So, I'll put a list up at the bottom here and if any of you think they look interesting and want to attempt them feel free to do so!

Just a warning note, this will be looong and full of rambling babble that probably will make no sense.

Anywho, my computer seems to finally be working again and I decided it was time for me to make my long over-due reappearance and explain my disappearance.

As noted earlier, I have been having major computer issues. I know some of you will say, "Just get a new comp" but unfortunately my hubby and I don't have the money for it. I have been sick a lot (explained later) and not working so money is tight and luxuries like a new comp are out of the question right now.

Also, as stated above, I have been sick a lot lately. Constant sinus infections, dealing with the effects of having high cholesterol, fatigue, physical therapy for muscle problems in my legs and back pain, and the big one...my depression. It has really kicked into high gear lately and I feel my self worth slowly and steadily slipping away.

I have been really depressed with this vicious circle of failure, no job, sick all the time, crap computer. I think the worst part is that it seems no matter how hard I try I always fail. I feel.….worthless.

But I digress.

I want to say thank you to all the people who have written me nice comments and have worried where I was and how I am doing. It means the world to me and allot of you have shown more care and concern then my IRL friends (not that I don't consider you my friends, because you are my friends, I just mean the people who I hang out with). I love you all and thank you for everything.

To Tenshi,
I am sorry I abandoned you and left you to run the guild by yourself. I know things were out of my control but I still feel extremely guilty. It wasn't fair and it wasn't right and I am so sorry I burdened you with all this responsibility. You are a wonderful person and a fantastic Guild Master. I guess I could say you are the 'Master' Guild Master! I am so glad we met on 1191ad and became such good friends. You mean the world to me and I thank you for putting up with my sorry butt.

To the members of Visionary Assassins,
I am sorry I deserted you as a Guild Master. I do not deserve the title of ‘master’…..I would say I’m more of an ‘Abbas’ than anything else. You all are a wonderful and creative people and I hold you all and your artworks close to my heart.

This all being said, I have decided to relinquish my title of Guild Master of Visionary Assassins. I do not feel as though I have earned/upheld that title and what it means to be a Guild Master. However, I still want to be a part of Visionary Assassins and help Tenshi out to the best of my abilities doing duties like I did before. That is if she wishes to have me help out. Tenshi has every right to tell me to go take a hike after what I have put her through. I am leaving this in her hands as she is the true Guild Master of Visionary Assassins. Always has been, always will be. I just feel that like Altair (not to sound corny) I need to be dropped back down to the rank of novice and earn my title, not just expect to have it no matter what.

Finally, I want to say congratulations to Nevar23 and Rusty002 for becoming the newest Guild Masters of Visionary Assassins! I am so proud of you and I know in my heart you will make fantastic Guild Masters. Tenshi was wise in choosing you and I wish you both the best of luck in this new endeavor!
